Staff: Kathleen Hernandez

Colorado Springs native, Kathy Hernandez obtained her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice/Human Services. Kathy has worked with children most of her life, including babysitting at a young age. Kathy has spent much of her adult career working with struggling, underprivileged children and their families in El Paso County, Teller County, Fremont County and Denver.

In her spare time, Kathy loves spending time with her daughters and dog. She enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly the mountains, lakes and oceans. She enjoys crafting, cooking, camping, fishing, reading books and most importantly spending time with family and friends. Kathy is avid about working with children and their families creating long-lasting relationships with youth.
