Born and raised in Albuquerque, NM, Kevin discovered his passion for helping young people dream big and navigate the turbulence of adolescence while working as a summer camp counselor in college. Kevin has over 30 years of experience in youth education and ministry in Colorado and New Mexico. He earned degrees in Chemistry and Education from the University of New Mexico and the College of Santa Fe. He was ordained to the permanent Diaconate in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe in June 2014. Before moving from Albuquerque to Colorado Springs in March 2021, he worked at St. Pius X High School teaching classes in Chemistry, Physics and Theology while serving as the Chairman of the Theology Department. He was named Teacher of the Year in 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed his time mentoring, coaching, educating and generally spending time with middle and high school aged youth.

Kevin has been married for 34 years to his beautiful wife, Marybeth, who was also his high school sweetheart.  He has two fantastic young adult children: Brianna, 26, and Nathan 24, Both were married in 2022 and now the family has been blessed with their first grandson. He enjoys all things outdoors including cycling, disc golf, volleyball, hiking, skiing, and around the holidays you will find him setting up his gigantic model railroad train village.
