June 01, 2022 It’s Graduation Time! Landon is five years old and graduated from Talbott Elementary School in Widefield School District 3. He's pictured here with Erich, one of our professional mentors. We are SO proud of two children in our program who just graduated from kindergarten! Landon is five years old and graduated from Talbott Elementary School in Widefield School District 3. One of his favorite things to do is to play Uno with his older brother and his mentor, Erich—who he usually beats! Landon's grandma, principal, and school counselor report that having a mentor has changed his behavior after just 3 weeks together. Way to go, Landon and Erich! Robert, the first boy registered in our program in Colorado Springs, also just graduated from kindergarten. He attends King Elementary in Colorado Springs School District 11. We loved a story that Erich shared with us about the date when Robert thought his summer vacation from school would start. He was insistent that his vacation would start on June 21 because that’s when Alexa told him that summer started! He had a very pleasant surprise when he found out that his summer vacation from school would start sooner! Congratulations to Landon and Robert!
